MANAMI IS ON LEAVE
I came to Canada in 2015 from Japan to travel and to improve my English. I then decided to become
a Registered Massage Therapist. I recently graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and
Hydrotherapy (CCMH) Toronto campus. During college, I received great experience treating
patients in the student clinic, in hospitals and at sporting events. I treated clients who had a wide
range of conditions such as shoulder/neck stiffness, lower back, knee and feet pain, anxiety and
insomnia. Also I treated people with acute sports injuries and patients with HIV, brain injuries and
rheumatoid arthritis.
I like to go hiking, travelling and trying different cuisines. I am passionate about helping people relax
and reducing or eliminating any physical issues they have.

Andreina is determined to change the life of her patients, one session at a time.
She was inspired to immerse herself in rehabilitation sciences after personally witnessing how physiotherapy fully helped someone she knew. Helping patients quickly became her life’s purpose. She decided to study Occupational Therapy and, after a few years of practicing as an Occupational Therapist, she upgraded her skills and graduated from the Physiotherapy program.
After 20 years of experience working with patients struggling with orthopedic and neurological conditions, she found herself wanting to learn new concepts to expand her knowledge. She learned about the Fascial network (The biological fabric that holds us together), and this led her to Osteopathy.
Andreina discovered how this hands-on approach to discomfort could positively affect restrictions on the tissues, remove the underlying cause of pain and facilitate the healing of the body. This encouraged her to continue to dedicate her life to help ease her patients’ pain and improve their quality of life.
Every day, she looks forward to helping her patients improve their flexibility and blood circulation, decrease the stiffness of their joints, and relieve their pain. She witnesses how after each session, her patients feel more relaxed, at ease, and more importantly, can go back to their daily activities.
Andreina has seen firsthand how, through Osteopathy; her patients have regained control of their lives in the face of chronic pain. Mothers are now playing with their children again, students are enjoying their social outings and workers are going back to their jobs. This therapy is for everyone that wants to reclaim their life from pain and discomfort.
When she is not helping patients, you can find her enjoying time with her family and friends, hiking and getting lost in a good book.
Andreina is constantly updating her knowledge and is currently studying the curriculum for Visceral Manipulation and Craniosacral Therapy with The International Alliance of Healthcare Practitioners.
Are you ready to improve the quality of your life, overall well-being, and regain control of your body? If so, I look forward to working with you!
Andreina is determined to change the life of her patients, one session at a time.

MONIL IS ON LEAVE
Monil Soni, Registered Physiotherapist
As a manual orthopedic practitioner, Monil Soni, PT has experience aiding people with a variety of healthcare needs. Monil is passionate about seeing patients return to what they love in life–whether it’s taking a walk without pain, returning to work or playing with their children. “My goal is to help people get back into their routine and provide them with detailed information on how to maintain their highest level of well-being.”
Deciding on Physiotherapy
In India, where Monil grew up, he was inspired after witnessing a family member regain near normal functional capacity following joint replacement surgery after receiving therapy from a physiotherapist. Monil noted the physiotherapist representing different roles such as empathetic listener, motivator, educator, expert, advocate, collaborator, and a supportive friend throughout the rehabilitation journey. All gifts Monil wishes to pass along to as many people as possible.
Always Learning
To prepare for his career as a physiotherapist, Monil earned a Baccalaureate degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health and Sciences in India which is equivalent to a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy evaluated by the Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators (CAPR). The 5-year program included an internship in a public hospital. Monil also practiced in a privately owned clinic in India, treating common musculoskeletal injuries for 3 years.
After emigrating to Canada Monil enrolled in the University of Toronto’s Ontario Internationally Educated Physical Therapy Bridging Program which is designed to integrate foreign trained Physical Therapists with the expectations of the Ontario Physiotherapy Association. Since graduating from this program in 2017, Monil has had the opportunity to expand on his skills in a variety of healthcare settings.
In addition to practicing as a Registered Physiotherapist, Monil is also in his final year working toward a diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Moxibustion. He will have a secondary license as a Registered Acupuncturist once he completes the exam.
In constant pursuit of advancing his knowledge, Monil is also planning to become a CAMPT-Certified Physiotherapist, a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). Earning the designation requires a postgraduate education with five level exams. Currently, Monil is preparing for the Orthopaedic Division Level 1 exam.
Providing Confidence-Boosting Care
When Monil spends time one to one with his patients, he explains relevant information about their condition, applies effective techniques in the clinic and teaches patients to perform beneficial exercises safely at home. Monil’s patients also enjoy his sense of humour.
Hobbies
In the winter months, Monil enjoys cross country skiing, and in the warmer months, he likes to swim, hike trails, and camp. He also enjoys staying active by taking spinning classes and doing HIIT, a high intensity training program.
