Acupuncture is a safe and effective natural therapy that is used to heal illness, prevent disease and improve well-being. Tiny, hair-thin needles are inserted into specific points in the body where they are gently stimulated to trigger the body’s natural healing response. Acupuncture is effective for controlling pain and can regulate the body’s physiological functions to treat various internal dysfunction and disorders.
The needles are left in place for 20-30 minutes. The number of needles required and length of time needles left in the body very depending on the focus of the treatment.

I came to Canada in 2015 from Japan to travel and to improve my English. I then decided to become a Registered Massage Therapist. I recently graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH) Toronto campus. During college, I received great experience treating patients in the student clinic, in hospitals and at sporting events. I treated clients who had a wide range of conditions such as shoulder/neck stiffness, lower back, knee and feet pain, anxiety and insomnia. Jarek graduated from the Ontario College of Health and Technology in 2014. He is also certified in Upper and Lower Body Advanced Orthopaedic Massage and a certified Full Body Active Release Techniques® provider. Jarek commenced his studies in Osteopathic Medicine in 2015, attending the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in Hamilton. By constantly studying human anatomy and physiology, Jarek is skilled at answering the “why” and “how” questions posed by patients.

In addition to her basic training, she completed an extra course in pregnancy massage therapy with Trimesters Massage Therapy Education. During this time, she gained experience working with high risk pregnant and postnatal mothers at the Women’s College Hospital in Toronto.
